We live in an instant messaging, constant texting, ads everywhere we turn, kind of world, don’t we? So what’s a stained glass artist to do, to get the word out about their glass art?
First, START SMALL. Take baby steps. Baby steps are good. 🙂 Decide to spend 10 minutes, or 30 or 60 min./day making a marketing plan of action, and then start implementing it.
Are you trying to sell one stained glass window, or get the word out about your online store, or a craft show you have a booth at? Each requires a different approach.
Are you already really comfortable with online and social media, like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and others?
Determine your goals. That is your destination. Now you can tackle how to get there – your map and directions.
Remember that some people eat, sleep and breathe this stuff, and that it’s okay to learn, take your time and to START SMALL.
